Bidders will not be required to register to download the Specifications. As such, the District will not be able to provide notice of addendums to the specifications to those bidders who have not registered. It will be the responsibility of bidders who have not made their participation known to the District to verify that they have received all addendums. All addendums will be posted here on the day that they are issued to all other bidders known to the District to be participating in the bid.

The following Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), and/or BIDS are available at the Port of Brownsville at this time.

    Oil Dock #6 East Side Pipe Bridge – Request for Qualifications OIL DOCK #6 EAST SIDE PIPE BRIDGE – ENGINEERING Notice is hereby given that the Brownsville Navigation District of Cameron County, Texas, d.b.a. Port of Brownsville, is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Structural Engineering firms to perform Engineering Design and Construction Phase Services for the “OIL DOCK #6 EAST SIDE PIPE BRIDGE” and possibly other similar structural projects in the Port of Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas. Submissions must comply with the requirements set out in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) which may be obtained by contacting Mr. Ariel Chávez II, P.E./R.P.L.S. at (956) 831-7003, or at achavez@portofbrownsville.com, and an RFQ package will be sent by email, which will also be available at the Port’s website. All SOQs must be delivered to the Brownsville Navigation District, c/o Mr. Ariel Chávez II, P.E./R.P.L.S., Director of Engineering Services, 1000 Foust Road, Brownsville, Texas 78521, by 4:00 P.M. C.S.T. on Monday, May 17, 2021. Late submissions will not be considered. The BND Board of Commissioners HEREBY RESERVES THE RIGHT to reject any and all submissions, and to select the firm deemed most advantageous to the District. 4/26/2021, 5/03/2021.
