Procurement Notices

Bidders will not be required to register to download the Specifications. As such, the District will not be able to provide notice of addendums to the specifications to those bidders who have not registered. It will be the responsibility of bidders who have not made their participation known to the District to verify that they have received all addendums. All addendums will be posted here on the day that they are issued to all other bidders known to the District to be participating in the bid.

The following Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), and/or BIDS are available at the Port of Brownsville at this time.

  • Oil Dock #6 West Pipe Bridge

    Notice is hereby given that bids will be received by the Brownsville Navigation District (BND) of Cameron County, Texas on the “OIL DOCK #6 WEST PIPE BRIDGE” project at the Port of Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas.

    Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope to BND at 1000 Foust Road, Brownsville, Texas 78521 no later than 2:00 P.M. C.S.T. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, addressed to Ms. Lorena Hernández, CPA, BND Finance Director. Bids will be calculated on a lump sum basis and must comply with the requirements set out in the Bid Document, which may be obtained from Mr. Ariel Chávez II, PE/RPLS, Director of Engineering Services at achavez@portofbrownsville.com, at (956) 831-4592, or at www.portofbrownsville.com. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount is required as specified in the Bid Document.

    A Mandatory Pre-Bid Virtual Conference will be held at 2:00 P.M. C.S.T. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. The link will be made available to interested bidders.

    The BND Board of Commissioners HEREBY RESERVES THE RIGHT to reject any and all bids, and to select the bid deemed most advantageous to the BND.

  • Port of Brownsville Anchor Park

    Notice is hereby given that bids will be received by the Brownsville Navigation District (BND) of Cameron County, Texas on the “PORT OF BROWNSVILLE ANCHOR PARK” project at the Port of Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas.

    Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope to BND at 1000 Foust Road, Brownsville, Texas 78526 no later than 3:00 P.M. C.S.T. on Monday, February 8, 2021, addressed to Ms. Lorena Hernández, CPA, BND Finance Director.  Bids will be calculated on a unit price basis and must comply with the requirements set out in the Bid Document, which may be obtained from Mr. Ariel Chávez II, PE/RPLS, Director of Engineering Services at achavez@portofbrownsville.com, at (956) 831-4592, or at www.portofbrownsville.com. 

    Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount is required as specified in the Bid Document.  A Mandatory Pre-Bid Virtual Conference will be held at 2:00 P.M. C.S.T. on Friday, January 29, 2021. The link will be made available to interested bidders.

  • RFB 2021 Closed Cabin Vibratory Soil Compactor
    Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids for a 2021 Closed Cabin Vibratory Soil Compactor will be received by the Brownsville Navigation District of Cameron County, Texas. All Bids must be sealed and delivered to the Brownsville Navigation District, Director of Finance, 1000 Foust Road, Brownsville, Texas, on or before February 24, 2021 at 10 a.m. All submittals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: "Bid for a 2021 Closed Cabin Vibratory Soil Compactor" Bids must comply with the requirements set out in the "Request for Bids” which may be obtained from the office of the Director of Maintenance, Oscar Garcia, ogarcia@portofbrowsville.com and/or the Port of Brownsville website. Bid security will be required as stated in the Specifications. No Bid will be accepted via fax or electronic submission.
