State of the Port Address
The Port of Brownsville held its annual State of the Port Address Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the Ambassador Events Center, Brownsville, Texas.
Brownsville Navigation District Vice Chairman John Reed, Commission Secretary Sergio Tito Lopez and Commissioners Carlos Masso and Ralph Cowen discussed successes and challenges in 2017 for the Port of Brownsville including a record year in total operating revenue and tonnage; new businesses at the port and current and future projects.

5K1M Dock Dash
The Port of Brownsville usually sees vessels, trucks and trains on its property but on Saturday, March 3, 2018, it opened the gates to local avid runners and walkers.
Congratulations to the more than 400 participants that attended our annual family-friendly 5K1M Dock Dash run/walk. Not even the rain stopped these determined folks from crossing the finish line.
